The manual contains detailed information about licensing.
Permanent activation keys are tied, via the system ID and machine class, to a given system where UnForm has been installed. If UnForm is moved to a new system, it will not operate until the license has been re-initialized and a new permanent activation key entered.
If a permanent key has already been generated for your serial number, then in order to obtain a new key, you must request a reset of your existing permanent key by contacting SDSI. In doing so, you must certify that UnForm will no longer be operated on the original machine, or that it is being re-installed on the same machine where it was formerly operating.
In the event you need to activate UnForm outside normal business hours, you can use an emergency temporary activation, which is a temporaray activation that operates for 21 days. This grants time to request and receive a reset, and perform a permanent activation later. To activate in this mode, you use your serial number and PIN code and follow standard licensing steps for your operating system, but choose the emergency temp option. No system ID is required for this type of activation.
For details, please read UnForm License Reset Policies. Please note, resets for unsupported versions may incur a fee.
